DESCRIPTION:
English, c.1925, Astral, going barrel movement, in an oak veneer Art Deco case with MOP inlay for the Roman numerals. Gong strike, 8-day.
CONDITION:
some of the finish has deteriorated and is off the base. One mov't mount screw has been over-tightened and come through at the numeral 7. Still the movement is sound and complete and the case will clean up nicely. The movement is marked "Made in England"; the case is marked "Case English Made". Ht 7.5"
